We’re grateful that so many people are part of what the Hub does - volunteers, supporters, community partners, donors, churches, schools, local organizations, and neighbors who care deeply about this community.

Today was our first day of the new Free Summer Lunch Program 🧡🎉

Thank you to the amazing volunteers and our community supporters who are making this program happen! An anonymous donor in the community made it possible to kick things off, and we’ve had several more donors show up to make the rest of the summer program happen and provide lunches for kids who qualify for free/reduced lunch in Warwick School District. 👏🏼

The story of the Hub 💙🧡💛…

From the very beginning, the vision for the Hub was about people.
People who needed support.
People facing difficult seasons.
People who felt isolated or overwhelmed.
People who simply needed someone to walk alongside them.

The Warwick Community Hub began as a network of Lititz churches and church leaders (at one point known as the Warwick Compassion Network) wanting to address the challenges of poverty in Warwick/Lititz, praying for our community and actively creating transformational opportunities that led to our organization being here today. 

Since opening our doors to participants in Feb 2023, we’ve watched God do more than we could have imagined: partnerships formed across our community, families supported in practical ways, neighbors connect with resources, encouragement, and hope.

The Hub has always been built on the importance of caring for our community in practical ways as modeled by the life of Jesus. We are grateful for where God has brought us and hopeful for what’s ahead!

Today we’re thankful for our Executive Director, Steve Jeffrey! He cares deeply about this community and in his time of leadership at the Hub has helped build partnerships across organizations, schools, churches, nonprofits, and local leaders, driven by the fact that real change happens when people work together instead of separately.

The Hub Board and staff team are deeply grateful for all that Steve has poured into the Warwick community by launching the Hub. We celebrate the impact that he has made through this work, advancing the mission of the Hub, and pray for blessing in all that Steve steps into next! A Leadership Update from the Hub:
After six years of dreaming, planning, launching, and carrying a vision, our Executive Director, Steve Jeffrey, will be transitioning from his role with the Warwick Community Hub at the end of June 2026.

The Warwick Community Hub exists today because of the stewardship of a vision God placed on the hearts of several Lititz churches and leaders years ago - a vison Steve carried forward – aimed at working together to practically help our neighbors living in the Lititz/Warwick community by connecting families in difficult situations to available resources, empowering next steps, and restoring hope because of Jesus. What started as an idea has become a growing network of relationships, partnerships, programs, and care throughout the Warwick community. We are deeply grateful for Steve’s willingness to say “yes” to something bigger than himself.

As we step into this transition, we do so with confidence that God is still leading the story of the Hub and that the mission remains strong!

Twice a month our free fresh food Hub Market Pantry starts with a trip to Blessings of Hope! Huge THANK YOU to Lori and Joanne for doing this every Monday prior to the pantry! 👏🏼💕👏🏼

The Hub is excited to launch a new Free Summer Lunch program for students residing in the Warwick School District 🍎🥪

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous sponsor in our community, we’re able to start the program in mid-June. We would love for others in our community to join us in making this possible for families this summer!

Here are a few ways that you, your business, or your church can get involved:

🍏 Sponsor a week of the free lunch program for $300 - We’d love to give you or your business or church a shout-out and share how our community comes together! You can mail a check to the Hub or donate online (please note “Lunch” in the memo)

🍎 Sponsor the items for the free lunches for a day/week - We’ll send you a shopping list of what will be included in one lunch or three lunches, and your family or your group can shop for and gather the items together and deliver to the Hub.

🍏 Share our social media post about the program - You might have friends or neighbors that this could help over the summer! Sometimes the greatest impact comes simply from helping people know support is available. (We’re happy to send you a flyer as well if you’d like to print and hang up in your business.)

🍎 Pray - We so appreciate your prayers for the staff, the volunteers helping to run this program, the neighbors we serve, and this program as we move forward!

Summer is fast approaching and the Hub is excited to share that we are launching a brand new initiative: a Free Summer Lunch program for children who qualify for free/reduced lunch in the Warwick community!

Right now, around 1000 students currently receive free/reduced lunches at school here in the Warwick School District. But when school ends for the summer, that support pauses - but for many families, the need does not.

As part of our mission to connect our community to needed resources, we have decided to step into that gap and pilot a weekly bagged lunch distribution, making free lunches available to local children who need them. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous sponsor in our community, we’re able to start the program in mid-June.

Each child signed up for the program will receive three (3) bagged lunches each Wednesday filled with easy-to-prepare food items. The program will run on Wednesdays from June 17 to August 19, with pickup times from 12:00-12:30PM, and pickup locations at either:
🍎 The Warwick Community Hub office (165 Front St. Lititz)
🍎 The pavilion at the Warwick Township Lions Park in Rothsville. (25 Church St. Lititz)
