There are some exciting things going on at the Blackstone River Watershed Council! First, our annual meeting and election of officers will take place on Wednesday May 20th at 6:30 PM at our environmental center at 100 New River Road, Manville (Lincoln) RI. This meeting is open to the public and anyone can attend.

Second, as part of a grant and in partnership with the Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park and the National Park Foundation; Cool Air Creations in Smithfield did a fantastic job of placing the beautiful and colorful wrap on our fishing trailer. This fishing trailer is used to store all of the equipment used in our fishing programs that we sponsor throughout the year. Many of these events are aimed at providing opportunities for children, some who have never fished before, to be able to learn the basics of fishing and to have a fun day along the river. Check out this beautiful trailer!
