What an incredible privilege it is to have created a space for so many families to honor their loved one’s battle with ALS 💙

In 2021, we thought we might raise $500. With your support, we raised $15,000. We sat around the kitchen table that year counting and recounting to try and understand how that was possible, because it was more than we ever could have dreamed.

5 years later, you have more than DOUBLED that. The 6th annual Walk to End ALS raised a record-breaking $33,000. We have officially written over $100,000 in checks to the Healey Center for ALS at MGH where they are making steady progress in pursuit of a cure.

We have never been more certain that we will end ALS. Thank you for your unwavering support. None of this is possible without you 💙

ACT for ALS helps accelerate ALS research and supports pathways for people living with ALS to access promising investigational treatments. Reauthorizing it through 2031 means this important work can continue. Congratulations to The ALS Association and to everyone impacted by ALS! 💙

🎉 BREAKING NEWS! 🎉

We did it! The ACT for ALS reauthorization was passed by Congress today. The reauthorization extends the research and treatment access programs established by the original ACT for ALS through 2031, keeping the momentum moving toward a cure.

This victory belongs to the entire ALS community.

We mobilized advocates across all 50 states and worked directly with partners on both sides of the aisle to shape and strengthen the bill, grounding it in what people living with ALS and families tell us every day: move faster, cut the barriers, and generate evidence that turns promising science into proven treatments.

To every advocate who walked into a congressional office and wouldn't leave without a commitment: you did this. To the families who shared their hardest moments, so other families might have more time: you did this. We're grateful to our champions on both sides of the aisle who helped make this legislation possible.

Thank you for being a part of the ALS community and helping make history.
