Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. It is observed on the last Monday of May.
Stone Mountain Highland Games recognizes, honors, and remembers those who paid the ultimate sacrificed for our country and now stand the eternal watch.

Happy National Tartan Day!

Tartan Day is observed in the United States on April 6 every year, commemorating the day the Declaration of Arbroath (also known as the Scottish Declaration of Independence) was signed in 1320. What makes this especially significant is that the American Declaration of Independence was actually modeled on the Declaration of Arbroath, and quite a big proportion of the Founding Fathers were of Scottish descent.

Almost half of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and nine of the 13 governors of the newly established United States, were Scottish!

We had a great weekend celebrating and participating in the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade!
