This month something truly special took place. We held a family camp where several refugee couples found a place of rest and renewal. Some shared that it was the most wonderful experience they had known since the war forced them from their homes.
The program included biblical teaching on marriage, rich Christian fellowship, and moments of recreation that felt beyond imagination after so much hardship. God used these days to refresh weary hearts and strengthen marriages under pressure.

Please join us in prayer:
• For the end of the war, protection, lasting peace, and revival
across Ukraine
• That AFCI Ukraine can continue providing refugees with shelter,
food, clothes, medicines,
and spiritual care
• For funds to publish and distribute Christian literature and offer
dental care to refugees
• For successful evangelistic ministries, training sessions, and
teaching in the Bible college

Both start with simple invitations, shared tables, and patient planting of seeds.

On Sunday afternoon, Bruce and Trudy Dick hosted their 2nd annual Corn and Ice Cream Neighborhood invite. Trudy walked the neighborhood with invite cards, and for two hours neighbors dropped by anytime. They sat around the fire, picked fresh corn on the cob, and enjoyed ice cream treats together. What does this have to do with a spiritual harvest?

This year Bruce and Trudy gently extended another invitation… to explore Jesus in the Bible for 6-7 weeks this fall. They kept it low-key and a few neighbors signed up with real interest.

Just like corn needs planting and careful tending, hearts need open doors and genuine relationships. Just as a seed grows into a harvest, we are praying for a harvest of new life this fall.

Will you join us in prayer for these neighbors and for many more to respond?

Catastrophic flash floods have devastated communities along the Nepal-China border, claiming hundreds of lives with more than a thousand still missing. Families are searching for loved ones, rescue teams are working tirelessly, and many remain in urgent need of help and hope.

Will you stand with us and pray for the people of Nepal?

Pray for comfort for the grieving, strength for the rescuers, protection for those still at risk, and that Christ would be made known, even in this tragedy.

During a ten-day outreach in Karachi, AFCI Pakistan team member Rukhsar preached in churches, encouraged believers, and taught young people from Colossians about making Christ central in their lives.

But two simple encounters captured something especially powerful.
After hearing Rukhsar share how God had called and prepared him for ministry, a young man named Yeshwa approached him and said excitedly, “I will become a pastor like you.”

At another church, a mother brought her young son, Abrash, forward and asked Rukhsar to pray for him. When Rukhsar asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, Abrash answered without hesitation: “I want to become a pastor.”

We don't know what God has planned for these two young lives. But we are reminded that faithful ministry reaches beyond today. Through biblical teaching, testimony, prayer, and godly example, God can plant seeds that may bear fruit for generations.

Please pray for Rukhsar as he begins serving with the AFCI Pakistan national team—that God will equip and use him to proclaim His Word, disciple others, and raise up future servants of Christ.

“And what you have heard from me... entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2

From Witness to Believer

He came to watch a baptism. He left as a follower of Jesus.

In Palo Amarillo, our AFCI Dominican Republic National Director was leading a baptism service as new believers stepped forward to publicly declare their faith in Christ.

One man stood among those watching.

He hadn’t come to be baptized. He hadn’t come expecting his life to change. He had simply come to watch.

But God had other plans.

As he watched others testify to the transforming power of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit began working deeply in his heart. Before the service was over, the spectator had become a believer. He surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.

And he wasn’t alone.

With tears and joy, his wife and a friend also responded to the Lord, and the family dedicated their child to God.

Think about that for a moment. They came to witness what God had done in the lives of others—and encountered Him for themselves.

Before leaving, the man was given a Bible—his own copy of God’s Word—to help him begin this new journey of faith.

This is why we go. This is why we preach the Gospel. And this is why we never underestimate what God can do when people encounter the good news of Jesus Christ.

Your prayers and partnership help make moments like this possible. In communities like Palo Amarillo, the Gospel is being proclaimed, lives are being changed, and families are being drawn to Christ.

Someone may come simply to watch. But an encounter with Jesus can change everything.

Will you help us continue taking the Gospel to communities across the Dominican Republic?

Disciple-Making Training Reaches Church Leaders in the Philippines!

On June 28, leaders of the Bible Methodist Church in Paranaque City gathered for a powerful disciple-making training. Together they explored Jesus’ own strategy for making disciples who will go on to make more disciples.

In a special surprise, a national government official joined the session and was so encouraged that he recommended the training to other Bible Methodist churches across the country!

God is opening doors and multiplying impact through faithful leaders. Praise Him for this growing movement!

Will you pray for these leaders and for the spread of disciple-making across the Philippines?

8,000 Families Reached — Help for Today. Hope for Eternity.

This month, AFCI Ukraine reached an important milestone: the 8,000th family of internally displaced people received humanitarian help.

For families living through war and displacement, groceries meet an urgent need. But the ministry goes further.
Refugees are being invited to Bible study groups where they hear the Gospel, learn about salvation through Jesus Christ, and receive New Testaments and Christian books.
One man who began attending now comes regularly to church and recently shared his desire to receive Christ.
One woman called it a “double blessing”—receiving much-needed groceries while also having the opportunity to study God’s Word.

You can be part of this impact.
Pray for hearts to be opened to Christ.
Support AFCI Ukraine as they continue serving displaced families.
Share this story so others can join in bringing help and Gospel hope to Ukraine.

Together, we can bring practical help today while pointing people to the hope found in Christ.

150 Youth Hear the Gospel at Camp!

This week our team is at a kid’s camp in Romania, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus to 150 young people. Most campers come from non-believing backgrounds and this outreach is reaching into some of the least reached parts of Romania.

Many have already received Christ. Isn’t that awesome?! One young man named Albert took the initiative to start reading the New Testament on his own and now we are reading the Bible together every day with a group of 17 youth. What a powerful move of God among the next generation!

Please join us in praying for their spiritual growth and for many more to follow Jesus.

15 New Believers Baptized in Guadeloupe

What a season of joy! Across our two churches this year, 15 people have been baptized. Each one is a precious reminder that God is still drawing hearts to Himself through the evangelistic work He has entrusted to us.

We also celebrated the baptism of our eldest member at age 95, a beautiful picture that it is never too late to give your life to Christ. This September we will gather to celebrate her 100th birthday!

Praise God for every new life and for the faithful witness continuing in the islands of the Caribbean.

Will you join us in prayer for these new believers and for many more to come?
