You can't buy love, but you can rescue it.

In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.

🐶💛 Meet Sadie – Your Adventure Buddy & Professional Cuddlebug! 💛🐶

📍 Location: Lexington, SC

🐾 Name: Sadie
🎂 Age: ~3.5 years (DOB: ~12/1/22)
🐕 Breed: Beagle Mix
⚖️ Weight: 35 lbs (a little extra fluff around the middle!)
♀️ Female

🩺 Spayed, microchipped & dewormed; UTD on DHLPP, Rabies & Bordetella; heartworm negative and UTD on flea & heartworm prevention.

🐶🐱👧 Good with dogs, cats & kids: Good with everything she’s met so far! I was told Sadie wasn't good with cats, but I haven't had any issues with her around them. She may bark at cats on the other side of a fence, but she hasn't shown that same behavior when they're actually near her.

⚠️ Aggression or medical issues?: Sadie can be protective of her dog food around other dogs, so she eats in her crate. She does great with this setup!

🏡 Reason for rehoming: Owner surrender.

🏠 House/crate trained: Yes! No issues so far.

🥰 Personality:
Sadie is SUPER friendly and truly knows no stranger! 💛 She's the kind of girl who makes herself right at home, whether she's joining you for a car ride, heading out for a walk, or curling up for some cuddle time.

She walks nicely on a leash, loves car rides, and doesn't destroy her toys. She's got a nice medium energy level: she needs daily exercise and playtime, but she's also happy to lounge around and snuggle afterward. Just don't expect her to be a couch potato 24/7! 😂

Sadie has a little extra fluff, but she doesn't need professional grooming. Regular brushing and some occasional foot trimming should keep her looking her best. 🐾

If you're looking for a friendly, easygoing companion who's up for adventures but also appreciates a good cuddle session, Sadie could be your girl! 💕

📩 Message/email if interested! Please include Sadie's name in your message, as I have a lot of rescue animals currently looking for homes.

🏡 Adoption application & contract required to ensure a good home.

🐢🧡 Meet Sally – Your Personal Shoulder-Sitting Sidekick! 🧡🐢

📍 Location: Lexington, SC

🐱 Name: Sally
🎂 Age: ~2.5 months (DOB: ~7/21/26)
🐾 Breed: DSH – Tortoiseshell (Tortie)
♀️ Female

🩺 Spayed, microchipped & dewormed; has had 3 rounds of FVRCP; UTD on flea & heartworm prevention.

🐶🐱👧 Good with dogs, cats & kids: Good with everything she’s met so far!

⚠️ Aggression or medical issues?: None known.

🏡 Reason for rehoming: Sally and her siblings were strays surrendered to Animal Control. We pulled them to help with overcrowding and reduce their risk of getting sick while they were still too young to be adopted.

🥰 Personality:
Sally is the MOST sociable kitten in her litter, and she makes sure you know it! 😂 The second I open their cage, she’s climbing straight onto me. Forget personal space — Sally wants to be part of whatever you’re doing!

She absolutely LOVES to climb and especially enjoys perching on your shoulder like a tiny tortie parrot. 🦜🐈 She’s incredibly friendly, confident, curious, and always ready to explore.

She’s also completely addicted to wet food, so snacks are definitely the way to her heart! 🍽️💕 She has no problems being held, but don’t be surprised if she decides your shoulder is her favorite place to hang out.

If you’re looking for an outgoing, affectionate kitten who wants to be involved in EVERYTHING, Sally might be your girl! 🧡🐾

📩 Message/email if interested! Please include Sally’s name in your message, as I have a lot of rescue animals currently looking for homes.

🏡 Adoption application & contract required to ensure a good home and completion of remaining vetting: 1 more FVRCP vaccine & Rabies.

🐾 Buzzer — Looking for His Forever Home! 🐾
📍 Lexington, SC
🐶 Name: Buzzer
🎂 Age: ~3 years (~DOB: 9/16/25)
🐾 Breed: Best guess Shorkie (Shih Tzu x Yorkie) — 14 lbs but built SOLID 😂
💙 Male
💉 Neutered & Fully Vetted:
Neutered, UTD on rabies, DHPP & Bordetella, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and UTD on heartworm & flea prevention.
🐕 Good with dogs, cats & kids:
Good with everything he has formally met!
🩺 Aggression/medical issues: None known.
🏠 House/crate trained: Yes!
💕 Personality:
This little guy may be tiny and full grown, but he has A LOT of energy! He's a little calmer than his brother Slider, but don't mistake that for lazy. 😂 Walks alone aren't going to be enough for Buzzer. He needs a doggy friend to play with, a yard, and/or easy access to a dog park where he can really burn off his energy. Otherwise, you're likely to end up with a very creative little menace. 😅
😁 Always smiling thanks to his adorable underbite
🐕 Loves playing with other dogs
💨 High energy
❤️ Loves being held
🛋️ Will happily cuddle once he finally settles down
🛁 Did great for grooming!
Buzzer came into Animal Control with Slider, who we assume may be his brother. They do great together, but they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together.
That said, if you're looking for two tiny, goofy, energetic best buddies, they would make a pretty hilarious pair! 😂
📩 Interested? Message/email and please include Buzzer's name since I’m helping multiple rescue animals find homes.
✅ Adoption application & contract required.

Neutered, UTD on rabies, DHPP & Bordetella, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and UTD on heartworm & flea prevention.
🐕 Good with dogs, cats & kids:
Good with everything he has formally met! He can be a little bossy and vocal, but other dogs correct him easily and he takes it well.
🩺 Aggression/medical issues: None known.
🏠 House/crate trained: Yes!
💕 Personality:
Don't let the small size fool you; this boy has A LOT of energy! 😂 Walks alone aren't going to be enough to keep Slider happy. He needs a doggy friend to play with, a yard, and/or easy access to a dog park where he can actually run and burn off that energy. Without an outlet, you'll likely end up with a very creative little troublemaker. 😅
😁 Always smiling
🐕 Loves playing with dogs
🗣️ Bossy & vocal
❤️ Loves being held
🛁 Will need regular grooming
He did well for grooming overall, though he was a little difficult about his face and front feet. He did not require a muzzle, just some patience. His future family should be prepared for regular professional grooming.

🐶😂 Tug-of-war: 1. Porch cleanliness: 0. 🤣🐾

Excuse the mess… around here, the dogs are busy playing, the toys are everywhere, and apparently the porch has become a full-time recreational facility. 😂❤️

The cleaning can wait. The dogs are having fun, and that’s what matters! 🐾💕

ADOPTED
🐾 Iggy — Looking for Her Forever Home! 🐾
📍 Location: Lexington, SC
🐶 Name: Iggy
🎂 Age: ~1 year (~DOB: 9/16/25)
🐾 Breed: Best guess is Shih Tzu x Schnauzer, although honestly... your guess is as good as mine 😂 She is 11 lbs and came in with this unusual coat that doesn't seem to be getting any longer!
💙 S*x: Female
💉 Spayed/Shots:
Spayed, up to date on rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and up to date on heartworm & flea prevention.
🐕 Good with dogs, cats & kids:
Good with everything she has formally met so far, but Iggy is BOSSY with other animals. 😂 She has very strong opinions about how everyone should behave, and there is a high chance of scuffles in the home if she is paired with another strong-willed/alpha female. She would likely do best with a dog who isn't interested in competing with her for CEO of the household.
🩺 Aggression or medical issues:
None known.
📖 Reason for rehoming:
Iggy was found as a stray and taken in by Animal Control. She had a collar on when she arrived, but unfortunately no one came forward to claim her.
🏠 House/Crate trained:
Yes!
💕 Personality:
Iggy is a tiny dog with a LOT of personality. She has very strong opinions and is not afraid to express them. 😂
🌿 Loves sticks
🍖 Absolutely obsessed with food
💨 Loves getting zoomies with the other dogs
🛏️ Loves dog beds
🐕 Walks decently on a leash
👀 Has a pretty good off-leash loyalty
📢 VERY vocal and will absolutely let you know what she thinks
She's basically an 11-lb food addict with a stick obsession, a collection of strong opinions, and enough attitude to run a household twice her size. 😂
She's sweet, fun, energetic, and has been good with everyone she's formally met, but her bossy personality around other animals is something adopters need to understand. She isn't looking for a home where she can quietly fade into the background—Iggy has thoughts, and you will be hearing them.
📩 Interested? Message or email me! Please include Iggy's name when messaging since I am currently helping multiple rescue animals find homes.

📍 Location: Lexington, SC
🐱 Name: Kate
🎂 Age: 8 weeks (DOB: 8/8/26)
🐾 Breed: DMH to DLH – Dilute Calico (impossible to tell this young!)
♀️ Female
🩺 Spayed/Neutered/Shots: 1 round of FVRCP; dewormed, microchipped & UTD on flea/heartworm prevention.
🐶🐱👧 Good with dogs, cats & kids: Good with everything she’s met! Since she was born here, new environments can be a BIG adjustment, so she may be a little overwhelmed, shy or hissy at first. Once she settles in, her personality comes back out!
⚠️ Aggression or medical issues?: None known.
🏡 Reason for rehoming: Mom was surrendered very pregnant and gave birth here.
🥰 Personality:
Once adjusted, Kate is VERY friendly and has no problems being held aside from the normal kitten wiggles. 😂
She is the FRIENDLIEST of the girls in her litter and loves getting attention. She also has, in my opinion, the COOLEST markings of the entire litter! 😍
She loves playing with her kitty siblings and has all the fun, goofy kitten energy you'd expect from an 8-week-old baby.
If you're looking for a sweet, outgoing little calico with some seriously cool markings, Kate might be your girl! 💗
