This past Thursday, May 28, Bishop Daniel dedicated the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Camp Gravatt. The Advent's Gravatt Mission Team helped renovate and expand the outdoor chapel during their annual weeklong project in March of this year.

We are grateful for the ongoing work of our whole team, and for those who were able to attend: Randy Hurteau, Larry Moore, and Kenneth Brown.

We celebrate this special occasion with our diocesan family!

On Thursday afternoon, Bishop Richards came to Gravatt to lead a commissioning service for our 2026 Summer Staff. Members of the Church of the Advent Mission Team, who dedicated their time and talents back in March to renovate the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, also came to celebrate with us.

Tomorrow, campers will arrive, and Camp Gravatt 2026 will officially begin! We’re feeling grateful, motivated, and most of all: excited!!! Check back soon for All Ages 1 updates! 😄

Our year-round Staff dads brought their families to Family Camp last weekend! 💙

We’re thankful for these hardworking fellas and all they do daily for Gravatt, and we’re glad they had an opportunity to spend some quality time relaxing, playing, and making memories with their kids at Family Camp.
