What an incredible day at Mutt Strut & Pawpalooza!
One of the best parts of today was seeing so many amazing dogs come out to enjoy the festivities with their families. We were especially excited to see several of our former shelter residents return as beloved family pets!
Nothing makes us happier than seeing our adopted dogs living their best lives, and it was extra special to watch one of our shelter alumni race their way to a 1st place finish in the Mutt Strut! What a proud moment!
Of course, it wasn’t just about the dogs… a bottle baby kitten cruised around the event in a stroller, stealing hearts everywhere it went and reminding everyone that animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages deserve love and support.
Thank you to everyone who brought their pups, cheered on the racers, visited our vendors, participated in the raffle and silent auction, and supported our shelter. Seeing adopted dogs thriving in their forever homes and our newest little rescues being showered with affection is what makes events like this so special.
We loved meeting all of your two-legged and four-legged friends and can’t wait to do it again next year!
