Before tossing used fireworks in the trash, take a few extra minutes to dispose of them properly:

💦 Soak used fireworks in a bucket of water overnight (or for several hours).
🛍️ Place the soaked fireworks in a sealed plastic bag.
🗑️ Dispose of the sealed bag in your trash can on your regular collection day.
🚫 Never place hot, smoldering, or recently used fireworks directly into your trash can.

These simple steps help prevent fires, protect sanitation workers, and keep our community safe.
