On Friday, July 10, Greek Out with us at The LEAF at our new Pop-In event! 🇬🇷🎉

We are excited to feature Blue Juniata Foodways Tradition Bearer Mary Anna and her Arseniu Family Recipes for this new special event at The LEAF.

What’s a Pop-In?! It’s simple: Pop-in, Pick-up, and Go! Treat yourself to a Taste Traditions bag packed with authentic Greek food made from local, handed-down recipes originating in Greece.

How it works: You pre-order your Taste Traditions bag in advance by July 7 at cpartnerships.com and then Pop-In to The LEAF at 131 W Market, Lewistown (4:30 to 6:30 p.m.) on Friday, July 10 to pick up your ready-to-go order.

Grab your freshly prepared feast right at the counter and head home to enjoy incredible, authentic Greek food to kickstart your weekend!

📜 The “Greek Out” Menu ($44) Each bag is a full multi-course meal prepared fresh at The LEAF’s Pop-In restaurant food facility, packed and ready to travel with you into the weekend:

The Meze (Appetizers): An authentic group of 4 that includes 2 Cheese Pita Triangles, 3 Dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves), Feta Cubes, and savory olives.

The Entrée: A generous portion of traditional Pastitsio (a comforting beef, pasta, and cheese casserole) paired with Greek green beans cooked in tomato sauce.

Desserts: A dedicated group of classic Greek sweets, including Almond Cake, Baklava, and Greek Shortbread Cookies (Kourambiethes).

This week’s warm temperatures meant the bread dough moved quickly, so no BTS photos of the process to share! From my perspective, the baked loaves are the most photogenic anyway.😉
