Sometimes ministry looks like preaching, worship, and praying for people.

And sometimes… it looks like digging a 20-foot ditch, 4 feet deep to replace a water line. 😂

This was definitely not a $700 expense we were planning for, but what initially felt like an unexpected problem turned into a major blessing.

The original water line was galvanized, badly clogged, and could potentially contain lead. The new line will give us the water pressure we actually need and provide clean drinking water for the building.

And if I’m being completely transparent, there was another blessing hidden in the problem…

I got to run a mini excavator. 😎

Anytime somebody gives me an excuse to move dirt with heavy machinery, I’m probably going to find a way to be there.

It reminded me of something simple but important: we can find joy in every circumstance.

James tells us to “count it all joy” when we face trials. That doesn’t mean every unexpected bill, broken pipe, or difficult situation is enjoyable. It means we can recognize that God is still present in the middle of it, still providing, still teaching us, and sometimes even putting a little joy right in the middle of the inconvenience.

We could look at this as a $700 problem.

Instead, we’re looking at it as clean water, better pressure, a problem discovered before it became worse, and another step forward for what God is building here.

God is really looking out for us.

WE NEED HANDS!

Psalm 72 has a major project ahead, and over the next four months we’re going to need volunteers to help make it happen.

No construction experience? That’s okay—we’ll teach you.

We need help with power washing, painting, removing plaster, cleaning, hauling debris, heavy lifting, and general construction.

Could you commit a couple hours, a full day, or even consistent days over the next several months?

This is more than remodeling. It’s preparing a place we believe God will use to impact lives for years to come.

Willing hands. Willing hearts. That’s what we need.

Our last Psalm 72 newsletter had about a 20-minute read time. In my defense, God has been doing a lot. 😂

The problem? I buried some of the most important stuff at the bottom.

🔥 ONE NAME REVIVAL DAY TWO IS UNDERWAY!🔥

Night one was a powerful opener! We witnessed a salvation, a baptism, and three powerful messages that called people to repentance and brought darkness into the light.
