Psalm 72 is working hard to bring this renovation project to a close by the end of August, and we would love for volunteers to look over the schedule below and see where they can best plug in.

Whether you are skilled in construction, painting, flooring, trim work, plumbing, cabinets, cleanup, or simply willing to lend a hand, there is a place for you.

Here is the current construction schedule:

June 1–5
Sanding and finishing any construction before flooring

June 8–10
Primer on walls, ceiling paint, and one top coat on walls

June 11–12 and June 15–17
Laying flooring

Weeks of June 22, June 29, and July 6
Installing trim

July 13–17
Painting everything

July 20–24
Staining stairs and installing risers

July 27–31
Installing cabinets, tile wall, finishing plumbing, and shelves

August
Finishing anything and everything that still needs to be completed

This is a huge step for Psalm 72, and we are so grateful for every person who has prayed, given, encouraged, and served along the way. Now we are asking for help to finish strong.

If drywall dust was a spiritual gift, we’d all be operating in it by now. 😅

The momentum is REAL.

This week we officially finished mudding all of the walls, going through 12 buckets of drywall mud in the process. For the first time, these office spaces are starting to feel like actual finished rooms instead of a construction zone.

Next week, Trapper Ehrnzeller will be sanding. The following week, we’ll be priming, painting ceilings, and getting the first coat on the walls. After that, Fisher Brothers Builders will be helping us begin the flooring installation, and we’re believing for a few more people to jump in and help finish the floors.

Once flooring is complete, we’ll move into trim work, followed by caulking, filling nail holes, and final paint. After that, we’ll still have stairs, cabinets, bookshelves, the kitchenette, and hundreds of finishing details to complete.

The exciting part? The finish line is finally starting to come into view.

We’ve also had 2 of the 5 air conditioning units donated already! We’re still believing for the remaining units and are incredibly grateful for everyone who has partnered with this project.

Psalm 72 isn’t just building office space—we’re building infrastructure for discipleship, evangelism, ministry training, and Kingdom impact for years to come.

The change is coming!! Hallelujah 🙌🏻 What a momentous mile marker for us 🚀

Progress is happening! 🙌⚡

All of the insulation is officially in, the 2,000 feet of wiring WORKS, and the lights are ON! We’re pretty excited… you could say the atmosphere is electric. 😄

The vents have all been installed for the drainless AC units as well. Each unit costs around $500–$600, and we need 5 total to complete the project.

Custom ductwork for two of the offices are currently being built. The tongue-and-groove boards in my office ceiling have been polyurethane coated and installed. It’s looking incredible!

And now… drywall is going up! There is still a LOT of drywall work ahead, and we would truly appreciate volunteers willing to come help us keep moving forward.

Ministry Building Update 4/22/26 🛠️

We have officially entered the “putting things back together” phase — and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch a vision that was given in the Spirit now being built in the natural.

Here’s where we’re at:

• ✅ All office ceilings are up (40 sheets of 10’ drywall!)
• 💡 LED lights are installed and ready — we’re just a couple switches away from having full lighting in the offices and hallways
• ⚡ We prioritized getting electricity hooked up first so we can work with proper lighting moving forward
• 🙌 Huge thank you to Ben Hurst for helping with the sub panel — removing old circuits and making room for 3 new circuits (including a dedicated one for a kitchenette microwave)
• 🧱 All insulation is in for the walls

What’s next:

• Drilling holes through the brick and creating ductwork for 6 drainless AC units
• Hanging drywall on the walls
• Then… finishing drywall

The progress has been amazing, and it’s only possible because of people who are praying, giving, and showing up to serve.

⚡ WIRING COMPLETE! ⚡

We just finished installing almost 2,000 feet of wire throughout the new spaces! That’s a lot of current… and thankfully no shocking behavior from the team. 😄

As we move forward on Monday the 13th, ceilings will start to go up with drywall, and we’ll be insulating the walls alongside that. (Ceilings will be insulated last from above.) We’ve still got about half a day of prep work left — including punching ventilation holes through the brick for the drainless AC units in each room.

We’re getting close and you can feel the momentum.

Monday is a great day to jump in — honestly, the whole week is! We’ve had multiple new volunteers come out recently, and it has made a HUGE difference!

Also, a cool win for PS72 — during demolition, we were able to dismantle and sell one of the roll-up doors from the balcony for $1,000, which went straight back into funding the project. 🙌

With that being said, we still need to raise $7,000+ to cover materials we stepped out in faith to purchase on credit. We know the Lord said build, and we’re not letting finances slow down obedience.

All of the electrical will be complete…TODAY! Almost 2,000 feet of wire 🤯 So what’s next?! Insulation than drywall, drywall, drywall!

The 13th to 17th we will be hanging drywall. If you are able to volunteer, having several people running sheets, prepping spaces, putting glue on beams, reloading the drywall gun, and other odds and ends would be awesome! You don’t have to be super skilled just motivated to serve and lend a helping hand!

It’s coming along! Let’s continue to build His kingdom together! If we build it…He will come!

‼️ VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY ‼️

Our time of rest in Bear Valley, California has been incredibly fruitful. ❄️🏔️

The Lord has been speaking clearly, refreshing our hearts, and giving us strategy for what’s ahead. Sometimes stepping away creates space to hear Him more clearly for strategic seasons ahead—and He has been faithful to meet us here.

As we return, we’re stepping right back into the work He’s entrusted to us—specifically the build-out of our new office and ministry spaces. (Our friend Joe has gotten a head start on demo, check out some pictures below) This next phase is both practical and prophetic, and we’re inviting our community to partner with us through volunteering and giving.

Below is the current order of work for the office build-out so you can see exactly what’s ahead:

• Demo staircase to upstairs so it can be reversed
• Demo walls and ceilings to studs in existing offices (may need to remove attic insulation first if required)
• Build my office walls in order to continue demo for podcast room
• Cut out rolling doors in new offices
• Salvage doors in balcony hallway for new office doors
• Build new staircase to balcony and podcast room
• Level balcony floor
• Lay subfloor in podcast room
• Frame new office spaces and boxed ledges by roller windows for outlets
• Move electrical wire lower so the bookcase can be framed
• Map all electrical paths, switches, outlets, and run wiring
• Install electrical boxes, junctions, and lighting wires
• Insulate all areas where insulation was removed or missing (including podcast room)
• Drywall, drywall, drywall
• Finish drywall
• Prime drywall
• Paint ceilings and walls
• Install LVP flooring
• Trim
• Hang doors
• Caulk and fill nail holes
• Paint trim
