Shining Light Through the Darkness is a annual walking Christmas display event. Started in 2007, each year, starting early December and last till the beginning of the next year, Kish Park (Mifflin County) is lit up with thousands of lights and displays. Free entertainment, food and other various activities occur throughout the month for all families to come and enjoy. Everything is offered at no c

January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31... Disassembly/Cleanup at Kish Park is happening every Saturday until we are done, usually 4-5 weekends, depending on weather. 9am to 5pm.

It is the hardest time to get volunteers with how cold it is so if you have a couple hours to spare or even more, please come out and volunteer. Just be sure you have several layers and are ready to handle the frigid temps. We will of course have some warm up areas and lunch for volunteers.

As our season is coming to a close this Friday, we would like to wish you all a Happy New Year.

A reminder that there will be no activities tonight but lights should be on for a walk. In addition, volunteers are needed on Saturday as cleanup starts and we start putting it away again.

It's cold, a bit windy so while we are open right now, lights are likely to be off early tonight.
