Well, Not the news we wanted, but we finally heard back from the FDIC over the Pay pal issue..
We will not be getting any of the money back! The original $1,500 we had in our account and the $8,643.00 that we had to pay back. For a grand total of $11,143.00 that we proved was fraudulently taken from our organization!
Before you ask, there were no merchandise items purchased, hence why pay pal didn’t stand behind the fraud, and the website (websites) that hacked our accounts were overseas.
Since this happened, we haven’t fully recovered! Then a week later my house fire which we lost all our horses medication, dewormer, vaccines, that were stored in the house due to freezing temps in the barn.
We’ve yet to get any money from the insurance company! Yes it’s been 5 months!
Last week alone just to purchase dewormer was $525.00, and the week before that was $440 for the farrier to do 1/2 the horses, and the rest need to be done on the 29th
We still need $2000 to cover our upcoming hay bill, $1,450 to get feed, and we have 2 mares on Prascend, which we are almost finished with a box of 160 tabs that cost over $400.
For the last few months I’ve been picking up the short falls, and I simply can’t continue to do so..
Currently we only have 1 horse available for adoption, several on rehab, and normally we have funds coming in from adoptions, but again, that’s not been the case lately.
We currently need to raise approximately $5000. To get us through this hurdle!
If you can help even a little bit it would be greatly appreciated.
