A huge thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our Equine Trivia Night!

Your enthusiasm, great questions, and support made the evening such a fun and educational experience for everyone involved.

We’d especially like to thank our incredible veterinarian, Dr. Ashley Alberts, for guiding the trivia questions and leading such thoughtful and informative discussions throughout the night, and Breckenridge Farms for donating a portion of the food for the evening.

Thanks to your support, we raised enough funds to help cover a portion of our spring veterinary expenses, including vaccinations and dental care for the horses. Every dollar truly makes a difference in the care we’re able to provide.

We’re excited to announce that another Trivia Night is already planned for June 9th with a very special guest — stay tuned for details and registration information coming soon!

Our founder & Executive Director, Sarah Lloyd, was recently featured on Retired Racehorse Radio along with one of our partner trainers, Haley Brush of Breckenridge Farms, to talk about retired racehorses, responsible Thoroughbred aftercare, and the work our nonprofit is doing to help these amazing athletes thrive after the track. 🐎❤️

What a wonderful evening at the Kentucky Derby party in support of an amazing fellow horse rescue 💚

It was a beautiful event for a truly great cause, and we’re so grateful to have been part of it. We had a fantastic time, met so many kind and passionate people, and were reminded just how strong this community really is.

In an industry that can be tough, moments like these matter. When rescues come together, support one another, and lift each other up, we all move forward—for the horses who need us most.

Today was dental day for our horses! 🐴✨

Just like people, horses need regular dental care to stay healthy and comfortable. Over time, their teeth can develop sharp edges, uneven wear, or other issues that make it painful to chew. This can lead to weight loss, digestive problems, and even changes in behavior.

Days like today are a great reminder that ongoing care is so important—and it’s only possible because of the support we receive. Donations help us cover routine medical needs like dental work, vaccinations, and farrier visits, keeping our horses happy and thriving.

We are so incredibly grateful for the support shown to Goldini and Merlin ❤️

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to receive funding to cover half of the cost of their ulcer treatment—and every little bit truly made a difference. Because of you, these two are getting the care they need and deserve.
We’re happy to share that both horses are progressing well in their training and continuing to move forward every day. 🐴
