Hi there! The woman took me trail riding for a couple weeks. Phone signal has been nonexistent, but we’re putting up photos while she’s in town. Has been great vacation so far, we’re riding 10 to 11 miles a day. No elk sightings yet, but we’ve got one more day, and then a week at Hungerford Trail camp. Will be sharing more pictures of our adventures!

Schneiders gift certificates definitely welcome

Good afternoon…. The woman here…. I’ve been quiet, and it’s not been easy….
It was apparent very early into Zazu’s evaluation that a life as a trail horse was not in the cards. The best that I could do was to let him live out his remaining days being a horse… hanging out, and eating grass - a destiny denied him for far too long…
In the meantime, I was contacted regarding another senior… a Clydesdale/Thoroughbred cross who had the good fortune of being owned by a family that provided excellent care, along with wanting the best for him. It was discussed, and I agreed to have him here for a while, so I could evaluate and get to know him while waiting for a spot to open up for him at Impact Equine. In memory of Zazu, this page will now become Coda’s….. Take care of your seniors….. they’ve got experience, and they will serve you well!

"Don't cry for the horses that life has set free.
A million white horses, forever to be.
Don't cry for the horses now in God's hands.
As they dance and prance to a heavenly band.
They were ours as a gift, but never to keep...
Don't cry for the horses, love the ones that are here.
~Brenda Riley-Seymour~

This painting from Tim Cox Fine Art is called "Where the Sun Shines on the Mountain Tops". It is dedicated to all the horses we loved and those who loved them. Rock on Aberdeen Moonsport "Abby", Sir Gold Olena "Goldie", "Buckshot" and Sana Oak!

Miss you, Goober!

For those of us who have loved and lost a horse.❤️

"Somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some paradise where horses go,
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again."
