Thank You to the Banish family for the wonderful Amazon Gift card you gave us yesterday. We used it to make this purchase of a Purple Martin bird house to attract more Purple Martins to the gardens.

More blessings for the gardens library. Today we were able to pick up the Richard Kughn model train Periodical collection. Mr. Kughn was the former owner of Lionel trains. We can’t be more thankful to Lynn Jovick for letting us know about this, the Kughn family, and Ed Lucas for arranging all of this. Over 100 moving boxes in all. We can’t wait to share with all who visit the gardens.

Today we began building one of the two switches for the railroad. We will be extending the track from the oval down the driveway. The ultimate goal is to have the railroad go around all twenty acres. This is just the next step in the ultimate goal.
