🇺🇸 Memorial Day | Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸

Today, OAYA pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with loved ones and enjoy the day, we reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day—and express our deepest gratitude to the heroes who made it possible.

Oxford Shines in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court Jury Contest!

Huge congratulations to Parker Schornak, 3rd grade student at Oxford Elementary, and Tess Nowacki, 7th grade student at Oxford Middle School, for winning the Elementary and Middle School categories in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court Jury Contest!

Out of 190 entries, only twelve designs were selected by court staff to move on to the final round judged by four of the court’s family division judges. Finalists represented several districts across the county, including Berkley, Clarkston, Holly, Novi, Oxford, Waterford, and Notre Dame Prep. We are so proud to see Oxford students stand out among such strong talent!

The three winners and nine finalists—and their families—have been invited to a special recognition ceremony on June 1, 2026, in the jury assembly room to honor their creativity and help highlight the importance of juror service in our democracy.
Congratulations again to Parker and Tess for representing Oxford with excellence! 🎉💙

🌟 Celebrating Our Jury Sticker Contest Participants! 🌟

Oakland County’s K‑12 Jury Sticker Contest brought out incredible creativity this year, and we are so proud of our Oxford students who represented our community with their artwork!

On behalf of Oxford‑Addison Youth Assistance, we are excited to recognize the following students for their participation. Each student will receive a $10.00 gift certificate to Summer Sundaes as a token of our appreciation:
