Our Journey of Hope Lemont MISSION STATEMENT
As a faith-based cancer support group, it is our mission to offer hope to patients, survivors, families and all those affected by cancer.

We are a group Christian men & women in the community who have been touched by cancer. We are passionate in our desire to meet the needs of those affected by cancer any way that we can… whether it is physical, informational, or spiritual and emotional … all from a Christian perspective. We have witnessed and experienced the hope that faith gives us in difficult and desperate times. We feel called

to bring that hope, and the strength & joy that comes with it, to cancer patients, caregivers, survivors, loved ones, etc. Our leadership team includes survivors of various types of cancers… brain, stomach, breast, prostate, throat. All have gone through training offered by The Cancer Treatment Centers of America. We are a cancer support group called “Our Journey Of Hope- Lemont.” We welcome anyone affected by cancer. Our monthly gatherings are topic-driven, and include guest speakers, group discussion, resources, and prayer. We are grateful to Fr. Brian and St. Alphonsus & St. Patrick Parish for sponsoring this much needed ministry, and Calvary Church for making it part of their small group ministries.
