🚨🆘 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR REX! 🆘🚨

Rex’s time is running out, and we desperately need someone to step up for this sweet boy! 💔🐾

Rex is about 3 years old, a GOOD boy who loves people and other dogs! He’s so cute! He even looks like a black Golden Retriever. 🖤🥹 All this boy needs is someone willing to open their home and give him a safe place to land.

Rex needs a foster soon to make it to Woof Animal Rescue on 10/24. We want so badly to say YES to him, but we can’t do it without a foster placement!

After months of waiting, today was finally Molly’s day! 🐾❤️

Her forever family drove 6½ hours to meet her and bring her home. This sweet girl was worth every mile, and we couldn’t be happier to see her finally get the happy ending she deserves!

💛 Meet Butters—equal parts playmate and snuggle bug! 🐾

At approximately 2 years old and 40 pounds, Butters has so much love to give. He’s currently at Blue Island Stray Dog Project , and we would love to help him leave shelter life behind for a family of his own!

Butters loves chasing balls, playing tug-of-war, and showing off his adorable zoomies. Outside time and walks are among his favorite things—but after the fun, he’s ready to curl up close for cuddles. All this sweet boy wants is to play and be loved. 🥰

🐾 Fully vetted
🐾 Great with other dogs and people
🐾 Knows “sit,” “paw,” and “lay down”
🐾 Walks well with a harness—bunnies and squirrels can be pretty exciting!
🐾 Good with cats, a little timid around cats and would need slow introductions

Butters would thrive with an active family and a securely fenced yard where he can run and play safely. He may enjoy energetic children who would love a playful buddy, with introductions to make sure everyone is a good match.

He brings the fun, the cuddles, and unconditional love. Now he just needs someone to give that love right back. 💛

🐾 ⭐️SPOTLIGHT DOG OF THE WEEK: JAKE! 🐾⭐️

Hiiii, everyone! It’s me, Jake! 🐶💙 And I’m here to tell you why I should be your new best friend!

I’m a couple of years old, a tiny little 15 pounds, and I come with the CUTEST ears, the stumpiest little legs, and a whole lot of personality! 😍 My foster says I’m a silly, sweet boy, and honestly, I think that’s a pretty fair description!

My favorite things? TOYS, playing tug-of-war with my doggy friends, and making new human friends! I love dogs of ALL sizes, and I’m a very playful guy. Having a doggy sibling to play with would make me SO happy, but it’s not a must. I’m also a big fan of snuggles and sitting in your lap, so if you’re looking for a little buddy to keep you company, I’m your guy! 🥹❤️

I’m a good boy, too! I’m potty trained, do well in my kennel, and I’m ready to bring all my silly little antics to my forever home. Cats make me a little unsure, but I don’t chase them. I’m just not quite sure what to think of those funny-looking creatures yet! 😂

🚐❤️ 13 NEW FACES. 13 FRESH STARTS. ONE BIG WOOF FAMILY! 🐾

There’s nothing quite like transport day!!

13 babies made their way to Woof today from Kentucky, Southern Illinois, and Missouri. 13 lives about to look a little different. They now have the chance to experience the love, safety, and happiness every dog deserves — because their fosters said YES. ❤️

We can’t wait to watch these babies settle in, discover all the good things life has to offer, and eventually find the forever families they’ve been waiting for. And trust us, it won’t be long before these adorable faces are ready to steal some hearts! We can start taking applications very soon !! 🏡🐶

To our amazing fosters, THANK YOU for being the reason we can say yes to dogs who need us. And to everyone who came out to help with cleaning, medical intake, and all the little things that make a big day like this possible, we appreciate you more than you know.

Rescue is so much more than getting dogs from one place to another. It’s a community of people who care enough to show up, open their homes, lend a hand, and change lives together. And today, thirteen more lives were changed. 🫶🏻

🐾 A morning of wagging tails and wellness!

These amazing pups have already been adopted and are now enjoying life in their forever homes. They attended our vaccine clinic this morning, where they received their rabies vaccines and other vaccinations needed to complete their vetting. It’s so wonderful to see them happy, healthy, and thriving with their families! ❤️

We’re so thankful for our veterinarian, Dr. Burns, for helping us keep our Woof pups healthy and cared for. 🩺🐶

Two precious lives. Two fresh starts. All because fosters stepped up and said YES! 🏡

We are so incredibly thankful to the families opening their homes and hearts to these sweet dogs. They’ll be arriving Saturday, and we can’t wait to welcome them to the Woof family! 🐶🐶

We’re also thankful for our amazing team, who work tirelessly around the clock to make sure these dogs’ needs are met. Racing against deadlines can be stressful, but every minute is worth it when we can save a life. ❤️

💕 Mabel’s foster is temporary, so she still needs a longer-term foster or an adopter when she arrives! We couldn’t let her lose her life, and her foster said yes to keeping her safe until we can find someone else. We are beyond grateful for that lifesaving commitment.

UPDATE- SAVED! ❤️

🚨💔 URGENT LAST CALL — MABEL & SCOTT NEED A FOSTER TODAY! THEIR LIVES ARE AT RISK💔🚨

Meet Mabel and Scott. Two sweet puppies who deserve so much more than growing up in a shelter.

🐾 Mabel is a 5-month-old girl ( #25).
🐾 Scott is a 4-month-old boy ( #15).

Both are sitting in high-capacity shelters, and their lives are at risk this weekend. We have until TOMORROW to find committed fosters so we can get them to safety. Their transport is scheduled to arrive Saturday, 10/17, but they can only make that journey if someone steps up for them.

We want to say YES to these sweet faces SO badly. We want to give them the chance to be puppies, to play, to feel safe, and to find the families they’ve been waiting for. But we cannot do it without you. 💔

❤️ FOSTERING IS FREE, AND WOOF PROVIDES EVERYTHING! You provide a safe place and a little love. We take care of the rest!
