This space is not open to the public and we do not accept donations here directly, but our local drop-off partners make it simple to get essentials to us. It's not too late to join the competition!!! 🏁 The 2026 Team Challenge officially kicked off September 1st but we are still accepting teams who are up for the challenge.

If you need a little inspiration on how to make the most of it, look no further. Last year the Diaper Genies showed up, got creative, and rallied their community in the most incredible way. Last week we hosted a community briefing in Albany, Georgia to share eye-opening local research on diaper insecurity — and the room was packed with leaders ready to listen and act.

New research shows nearly all Albany Medicaid families still can't afford enough diapers, even while receiving public assistance. That gap is exactly why Helping Mamas Albany exists.

On the third Wednesday of every month, Helping Mamas Albany meets families at the Dougherty County Health Department with diapers and support. Thanks to our partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health, we're able to show up consistently for the Albany community. It's Wednesday and our wish list is ready. 🩷 Right now Helping Mamas Albany needs newborn diapers, size 1 diapers, wipes, new car seats, and baby hygiene items. If you have any of these items to donate, we have two convenient drop-off locations around town ready to receive them. Check the graphic for addresses and hours and please share this with anyone who might be able to help.

Albany families, this is your reminder. 🩷 Tomorrow is the third Wednesday of the month which means our free community distribution event is happening at the Dougherty County Health Department from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Diapers and essentials available while supplies last, hosted in partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health Southwest Health District. Pass this along to anyone who could use it.
