A friend sent me this and said a friend of hers came home and this girl insisted she live there. Unfortunately, they have high-instinct dogs, and couldn’t keep this sweetie. So with or friends at Chicken Nugget and Gang we took her and she will be available for adoption next week after she gets spayed. 🫶 How cute is she though

Imagine a world where this baby buddy didn’t have to start his first few weeks suffering. The good news is that he will pull through. Preacher lost the end of his tail and may loose the tip of his ear due to the lack of grooming by a mother, but he is eating and more playful than his sisters like. Please consider donating wet kitten food and be sure to get all your cats fixed. :)

Let’s talk about Frida. This little sister came to us from a barn cat that kept getting pregnant. We fixed mama and her brother Frank was adopted quickly. Now Frida is looking for her forever home. She is sweet, well mannered, quiet, and is the perfect lap kitty. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots and is just waiting for an approved adopter to take her home. Here’s the second truth about long haired cats; b***y baths. Pepka is the cutest and she requires extra maintenance….probably for her whole life. Long haired cats often get stuff stuck back there and require a trim or a bath. Worth the work? Absolutely! Be informed to make the best choice for your family. 🙂 Pepka will be available through Chicken Nugget and Gang in a few weeks.

Let’s talk bout long haired cats. When we rescued DKynn he was totally shaved. We had no idea what he looked like in his full fluff. Well…come to find out he had to be shaved because the mats were so bad it was the only option. He had been dumped at a farm and was surrendered to Cats Limited cause he was also injured.

Here’s the thing. No one taught him that grooming was good. We can’t really brush him cause he hates it, so a couple times a year we just sheep shear all the mats off…and he looks dumb. We love him, but he is super goofy looking and everyone thinks he is sick.

Long haired cats are a lot of work because if we don’t shave him he gets uncomfortable and super moody. So yes they are cute and totally worth it, but just know that with long hair you may be signing up for more work than you thought 🙂
