Mentor A Mother's March meeting featured a shared meal, enjoyable conversations, and a special presentation by Captain Chris Daub and local firefighters from the Lebanon City Fire Department on fire safety, benefiting both children and mothers. We are thankful for Captain Daub's expertise and willingness to engage with our group despite his demanding schedule. The interactive session was a resounding success, particularly among the children. 👨🚒 🔥
In addition to the presentation, we
organized a donation drive, providing summer gift bags with essential items such as bug spray and sunscreen to our mothers, alongside other community donations. ☀️
New to our monthly meetings is a resource table that provides information on multiple forms of resources. 🫶🏻
The meeting concluded with a thought-provoking discussion on chapters 3 and 4 of 'The Let Them Theory' by Mel Robbins, highlighting its practical implications. 📖
