Our August meeting was a great one! 💙 We talked parenting, setting boundaries with screen time & social media, and had some great conversations (and plenty of laughs!) with our guest speaker, Lucinda Harnish from Lebanon Lancaster IU-13.

We also enjoyed our book club discussion and spending time together as moms. 🫶🏼
And of course, each mom left feeling extra blessed thanks to some amazing community donors:

We’re doing something NEW at Mentor a Mother, and our hearts are so full thinking about what this could mean for the families we serve. 💓

We’re hoping to make our very first Coat Drive a success, with every coat being gifted to the children of the mothers in our program. 🧥❄️

Motherhood already comes with so much to carry, especially while navigating the school year and everything that comes with raising a family. If we can take even one small worry off the shoulders of a young mother, then we’ve made a difference.

A warm coat may seem like a small thing, but to a mother who is doing everything she can to provide for her children, it can mean so much.

We’re asking our community to come together and help us show these moms that they don’t have to do it alone. 💜

July Meeting Recap! ✨

We had an amazing turnout this month featuring three incredible guest speakers:

• Emily Simone shared expert tips on fitness, healthy eating, and fueling your body to crush your personal goals.
• Audrey Perry guided us through a "Wheel of Life" activity, helping us reflect on our current well-being and find practical ways to create balance.
• Zahyra Ramos from Wepa highlighted exciting continuing education and professional development opportunities to help advance our careers.

Thanks to our amazing community, we were also able to provide our families with essential household supplies, diapers, and laundry detergent!

🚨 Missed out? Come join our next meeting in August! It is the perfect place to talk, laugh, connect, and find a supportive community. Kids are always welcome, and free babysitting is provided on-site. 💜🥰
