Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion. Being a Lion means knowing that kindness matters. Welcome to the Lebanon Lions Club!

We believe in making a positive impact in the world by serving the needs of our local communities. - New members are always welcome. - Lebanon, CT Founded in 1952 with just 26 charter members, the Lebanon Lions Club has grown alongside our amazing rural town. Today, we’re a vibrant group made up of folks from all walks of life—neighbors, friends, and community members—working together to make a difference. We’re always happy to welcome new members who are ready to lend a hand and serve! Whether it’s improving health and nutrition, caring for the environment, or creating opportunities for youth, we’re here to support our community in every way we can. Some of our projects include Lions Kidsight Vision Screenings, Blood Drives, Eyeglass Collections, and a variety of youth programs. The funds we raise throughout the year go right back into the community, supporting many local organizations and causes. We’re proud to serve, and even prouder to give back. Come be part of something meaningful—join us in making a difference! Because here at the Lebanon Lions Club, members become family.

Come and join the fun for a painting service project!
Gather at the playground of the Lebanon Co-op Nursery School located right next to the First Congregational Church in Lebanon.

Together we will paint the picket fence surrounding the playground. Everyone is invited. Please bring a paint brush, and wear clothes that can get dirty.

You don't have to be a Lion, or a parent of the a Co-op student to join in the fun. Anyone interested in giving back and sharing a little time with their community is welcome!

"I had a super sweet lady ask to help her weigh out some ingredients for a birthday cake she was making. We chatted about her life, children & grandchildren. She taught me a lot in that conversation, I think about her often 💕"

"My first Be My Eyes call was from a woman who was selecting clothing for a job interview."

"I read a Christmas card to an elderly man once,"

A simple pair of glasses can make a big difference, but millions of people still don’t have access to basic eye care. That’s why Lions Clubs collect gently used eyeglasses and give them a second life by helping people who need them.

Look for our eyeglass collection box around Lebanon and help us turn your old glasses into a new opportunity to see.

When did you last get your eyes tested?
Eye conditions can develop with no obvious symptoms, which is why regular sight tests matter. This World Sight Day, pledge to and book an eye test.
