We want to thank our speaker from Thursday, May 7, Ron Rhodes, Director of Programs for Connecticut River Conservancy. Ron opened his comments with an overview of the Connecticut River watershed. Key goals of CRC are clean water, healthy habitats, and resilient communities. Climate change is changing the stakes for the Connecticut River. We don’t worry only about spring runoff as we did in the old days when the river would rise and then fall. Today, mid-summer storms are causing extensive damage. Thank you Ron

We want to thank our speaker from Thursday, April 30, Nenia Ballard, Ms. Wheelchair New Hampshire 2026. Nenia will go to Michigan in August to compete for Ms. Wheelchair America. It’s not a beauty pageant. Its purpose is to give voice to disabled women, advocate for girls’ rights, accessibility, and inclusion. Thank you Nenia!

Recently, Rotary International embarked on the weeklong celebration of World Immunization Week from 24-30 April. We reflect on the incredible strides made possible by the tireless efforts of organizations like Rotary. Immunization stands as a triumph of human ingenuity and collaboration. Through vaccines, we've witnessed diseases that once ravaged populations who were brought to their knees, having their impact significantly mitigated if not eradicated. At the forefront of this global endeavor stands Rotary, a beacon of service, humanitarianism, and goodwill.
