✨ Thank You for Standing with Gentle Landing ✨

On behalf of the Board of the Gentle Landing Community Fund, we are deeply grateful for your generosity and support during this critical time.

Gentle Landing Birth Center has been a safe haven for so many families in the Upper Valley — offering compassionate, relationship-based midwifery care, postpartum support, and growing mental health resources for parents. This work is essential to the health and strength of our community.

We stand firmly with Katherine and the Gentle Landing team as they navigate ongoing insurance challenges. This model of care is too important to lose.

If you’re willing, please help us amplify this effort. Share the GoFundMe https://www.gofundme.com/f/protect-birth-choice-save-gentle-landing-birth-center, the Valley News article https://vnews.com/2026/02/10/midwife-insurance-issues-threaten-practice/?fbclid=IwdGRjcAP8dd5leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEeXOqAisM3hOdNJpAljOD1f20WpuWM5xjvcmVmaHHjDQDwk7iBWpkPdx0uaew_aem_sr4F03njYvKd_bqg_g5Asw , or your own Gentle Landing story to help us close the funding gap and protect birth choice in our region.

When families are supported, our whole community thrives.

We have a new name!

✨ Exciting News! ✨
We are proud to announce that Women’s Choice in Care Initiative is now the Gentle Landing Community Fund!

Why the change? We wanted a name that truly reflects our mission: ensuring that every family in the Upper Valley has a "gentle landing" into parenthood. 🌿

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to: 1️⃣ Making birth center care affordable for all eligible families. 2️⃣ Providing free postpartum support (like our Fourth Trimester Group!) 3️⃣ Launching new mental health resources for moms, dads, and partners.

Peace on earth begins with peace in the family. Thank you for helping us build that peace, right here in Hanover. ❤️

“She delivered…” “She is almost delivered…” “My doctor delivered…” “She was delivered of a baby (boy/girl) Client: How many babies have you delivered? Me: None. I’m not a stork! I birthed two beautiful baby girls and I help women find the birth that each of their babies ask of ...

There is a phase in labor, appropriately called transition, where a woman will meet her breaking point. She'll feel as though she just can't go on, and she is right. The maiden in her is not strong enough for the task at hand. It's during this time the maiden dies so that the woman can be reborn as a mother, with her child. A new, more capable version of herself with far more strength than she has ever known. From Maiden to Mother.
