Lealman Exchange

Lealman Exchange Pinellas County Government has contracted with the St. Petersburg Foundation to provide management services at the Lealman Exchange
beginning April 1, 2022.

Celebrating Lealman pride and increasing opportunities through partnerships and programs focused on economic empowerment, educational advancement, health and wellness, character and leadership, and community connectivity. The Lealman Exchange is a county-owned facility that will support Lealman residents as a community services hub and gathering place. Additionally, the Foundation will serve as th

e backbone organization for a Collective Impact initiative recommended in the 2021 Lealman Exchange
Strategic Plan, which was crafted by the St. Petersburg Group consulting firm, in partnership with the county and deep input from the community. The Community Foundation Tampa Bay is committing human and financial resources to support the Collective Impact Process and providing funding for a Needs Navigator. This position will help all residents find the services they need, either at the Exchange or from partner organizations. In the coming months and years, the St. Petersburg Foundation and Community Foundation Tampa Bay will bring additional philanthropic resources to the Lealman community. The Community Foundation Tampa Bay is committing human and financial resources to supporting the Collective Impact Process and providing funding for a Needs Navigator. This agreement is part of a collaborative effort to maximize the value of the Lealman Exchange to the community and to further activate the facility with a mix of services and programming, provided by those currently on site, future tenants and organizations throughout the community and region. The vision reflected in the Lealman Exchange Strategic Plan is that the facility serve not only to meet the urgent needs of residents but also to bring together resources to support residents and families on a path toward healthier and more prosperous lives.

Every Tuesday morning, our doors open for the Community Tech Desk, free tech help for anyone in the Lealman community, with a special focus on our senior neighbors.

This National Senior Citizens Day, we want to thank the residents who come back week after week and the volunteers who show up to help with everything from setting up a new phone to connecting to a telehealth appointment. This is exactly the kind of everyday support we want the Exchange to offer.

Know someone who could use a hand with their phone, tablet, or laptop? Send them our way. Tuesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., no appointment needed.
