We are a small town post that does all it can to support the four pillars of The American Legion, which are "Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth." We devote ourselves to up

hold the values of the legion, which are "A Veteran is a Veteran, Selfless Service, American Values and Patiotism, Family and Community Engagement, Advancing the Vision and Honor Those Who Came Before Us." We are "Veterans Stregthening America", as our vision and motto state. The American Legion, Buffalo Bill Post #347 does a lot for being such a small post. A few examples are:

- Scholarships
- School Flag Essays
- Performing Ceremonies, i.e. veteran funerals, holidays,
- Maintaining Memorials, i.e. The Freedoem Rock
- Flag disposal
- The Scouts
- Fundraisers, i.e. Patriot Fest
