Communities of Light has been bringing our community together for 25 years, reminding us that even the smallest light can make a difference.

This year, we’re sharing the voices behind the luminaries—neighbors, community leaders, volunteers, partners, and supporters—each with their own reason for lighting the way.

Because every light represents someone. And every story reminds someone they are not alone.

This National Dog Day, we’re celebrating the love, comfort, and companionship dogs bring to our lives. We also recognize that concern for a beloved pet can make it even harder for a victim-survivor to seek safety.

Through Younity’s new Pet Advocacy Program, we are helping survivors plan for the safety and care of their pets as they take steps toward a safer future.

Each year, employees at The Raymond Corporation choose organizations to support through their community giving. This year, a personal connection to Younity’s work inspired the team to choose us.

Raymond employees collected clothing, toys, cleaning products and other essential items for individuals and families in Younity’s housing programs. These generous donations will help create greater comfort, stability and a sense of home for the people we serve.

We are deeply grateful to the Raymond team for allowing the care at the heart of Younity’s work to ripple outward, reaching even more individuals and families in our community. 💜

A fresh set of sheets can be a small comfort when starting over. đź’ś

Thanks to The Linen Closet, Younity received 30 brand-new sheet sets for families in our Transitional Housing Program. What made the gift especially meaningful was the care behind it. The Linen Closet took time to learn about the families we serve and thoughtfully selected colors and patterns with individual families in mind.

The connection, initiated by Younity’s Geraldo Sierra, has now grown into an ongoing partnership to help meet future linen needs.
