Fidelia Atolwa grew up with her two siblings under the care of their single mother, a tailor who worked hard but earned very little. Paying school fees was a constant challenge, and Fidelia’s education was often disrupted. She was repeatedly sent out of class because her family couldn’t afford to pay, leaving her future uncertain and learning frequently interrupted.

Everything changed when she received support through Kenya Community Development Foundation’s scholarship programme. With her school fees covered, Fidelia was able to stay in class consistently, focus on her studies, and regain hope. She also benefited from mentorship, career guidance, and essential life skills that helped shape her path.

Today, Fidelia proudly serves as a Finance Assistant at KCDF, a testament to what support, opportunity, and second chances can achieve.

We are asking for your help so we can support 100 more young people in 2026 to access the school fees they need to pursue college or university education.

Your donation can change the trajectory of many more young people just like Fidelia.

By giving today, you can help 100 deserving youth access the school fees they need to pursue college or university education.

For many young Kenyans, the dream of pursuing higher education is clouded by financial challenges. Sharon Murugi knows this reality all too well. With both parents unemployed for most of her high school years, she often wondered how she would complete her education and whether attending university was even possible.

Thanks to generous supporters who contributed to Kenya Community Development Foundation's Education Fund, Sharon’s story took a different turn. She received the financial support she needed to complete her university studies, along with mentorship, an internship placement, and opportunities to give back.

Driven to uplift others, she founded Changamsha Siste (which means uplifting sisters), a programme where she mentors young girls.

Today, Sharon runs her own HR consultancy firm, using the skills she gained to empower her community.

Your donation can help change the trajectory of more young people just like Sharon.

If you give today, you will help 100 more youths in need of school fees to pursue college or university education.

Be part of their journey.

For many young Kenyans, the dream of higher education is quickly overshadowed by financial hardship, and Kipkemoi Sang’s story is no different. After losing his father at a young age, his mother struggled to support his schooling, and even after completing his diploma, the path ahead felt uncertain.

Kenya Community Development Foundation stepped in and changed his story. With a scholarship to pursue university, monthly upkeep, an internship placement, and mentorship, Kipkemoi found the support he needed to thrive. Today, he is a lawyer giving back to his community through pro bono legal services.

Your donation can open these same doors for other vulnerable youths, helping them gain skills, complete their education, and build brighter futures.

You too can part of their journey.
