The Aurora Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of a full time Patrolman.

*UPDATE- We are working with the Coast Guard to see who can move the buoy back to wherever it came from. We've asked Boone County Dispatch to let Boone County Water Rescue Team know about the issue. Please continue to use caution on that part of the river.

OHIO RIVER BOATERS KEEP WATCH! We tried to move this out of the channel near Lesko Park, Aurora (about river mile marker 497) , but this buoy is not budging. USE CAUTION GOING THROUGH THERE!

**CPR CLASS UPDATE**

Our free, sponsored CPR class on October 16 is officially FULL!

We are still accepting registrations for our waitlist in case of cancellations or additional spots becoming available.

Would you know what to do if someone around you suddenly needed CPR?

Aurora EMS is excited to offer a FREE AHA Heartsaver CPR class for members of our community, made possible through the generous sponsorship of New Seasons Auction and Estates.

This class is open to anyone interested in learning lifesaving CPR skills. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver course completion card.

This year, our class will take place on World Restart a Heart Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about CPR and empowering more people to learn the skills that can help save a life.

Lunch will be provided
No cost to attend

Registration is open now through October 13.

Space is limited to 12 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We will continue accepting registrations after the class is full to create a waitlist in case of cancellations.

You never know when you may be the person who can make a difference during an emergency. We hope this class gives members of our community the knowledge and confidence to step in when it matters most.
