🎉 We kicked off Senior Center Month yesterday! 🎉

We celebrated with pizza 🍕, cake 🎂, and the introduction of a brand-new project at the Dearborn Adult Center — our “Senior Spotlight!” 🌟

Each month, we’ll shine the spotlight on one of the wonderful seniors who makes our Adult Center such a special place. Members can nominate someone for a future Senior Spotlight by filling out a nomination form located in the rack in the hallway.

🌟 Our very first Senior Spotlight is… MARY MOORE! 🌟

Mary is such an active part of our Adult Center family! You can find her participating in Silver Sneakers, Line Dancing, Watercolor Painting, Bingo, Friday Dances, and even joining us on our trips!

But what makes Mary extra special is the way she makes others feel. ❤️ She is an absolute sweetheart with a warm smile and a way of making everyone feel welcome when they walk through our doors.

Congratulations, Mary, on being our September Senior Spotlight! We are so happy to have you as part of the Dearborn Adult Center! 🌟❤️

🎉 September is Senior Center Month! 🎉
We’re kicking off a September to Remember at the Dearborn Adult Center! 💙
The Dearborn Adult Center is so much more than a building or a place to attend activities. It’s a place to belong.
Every day, our Center gives adults 55+ opportunities to stay active, make friends, enjoy a hot meal, learn something new, laugh, dance, play, travel, and—most importantly—stay connected to their community.
For some, it’s a place to meet up with longtime friends. For others, it’s where they walk through the door not knowing anyone and eventually find a whole new circle of friends. ❤️
Our goal is simple: to help area seniors continue to thrive, stay independent, remain connected, and know that they matter.
Throughout September, we’ll be celebrating our members with special activities, treats, guests, programs, and plenty of fun. We’ll also be sharing more about what happens here every day and the people who make the Dearborn Adult Center such a special place.
Whether you’ve been coming here for years or you’ve never stepped through our doors, you are always welcome.
