💙 Speak up.

Men are often encouraged to be self-reliant, stay strong, and push through challenges on their own. While resilience is important, those expectations can sometimes make it harder to talk about mental health struggles or ask for support.

Research shows that men are less likely than women to seek mental health treatment, even when experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use concerns, or thoughts of su***de. Men also account for the majority of su***de deaths in the United States.

This International Men's Health Week, let's challenge the stigma around mental health and remind the men in our lives that they don't have to carry everything alone. A simple check-in, honest conversation, or reaching out for help can make a meaningful difference.

🌈 Small actions can make a big difference.

LGBTQIA+ youth face higher rates of anxiety, depression, loneliness, and suicidal thoughts—not because of who they are, but because of discrimination, stigma, bullying, and a lack of acceptance.

The good news? Support matters. Research shows that affirming adults, welcoming environments, and strong community connections can have a powerful impact on mental health and well-being.

This Pride Month, learn how you can support LGBTQIA+ youth through everyday acts of allyship and inclusion.

Risk factors are characteristics that make it more likely that someone will consider, attempt, or die by su***de. They can’t cause or predict a su***de attempt, but they’re important to be aware of.
