Neighbors In Need is looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Associate to support our food pantry operations, home delivery program, food pickups, and warehouse volunteer teams.

📍 Lawrence, MA
🕒 Approximately 15–35 hours per week
💵 Starting pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with the potential for a higher rate for qualified box-truck drivers

🎉 WE DID IT! 12,100 POUNDS! 🎉

Our Full Bellies. Bright Summers. campaign set out to collect 10,000 pounds of food to help fill the summer food gap—and thanks to this incredible community, we collected 12,100 pounds! ❤️

Summer can be especially challenging for families facing food insecurity. When school is out, children lose access to school meals, grocery bills rise, and already-tight household budgets are stretched even further.

But our community showed up. 💛

🥫 Food Drive Partners: The Cleaning Authority – Andover, Newcomers and Neighbors Empty Nesters of The Andovers, St. Paul’s Episcopal, SpringHill Suites Marriott, Temple Emanuel Pre-School, First United Methodist Church, St. Augustine’s, and St. Robert Bellarmine.

🌱 Farming Partners: Costello Urban Farm, The Giving Garden, Johnson’s Highland View Farm, Pleasant Valley Gardens, and Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens.

🙌 Volunteer Groups: Baker Tilly, CREST Collaborative, Merrimack College, New Balance, Opportunity Works, Plus Company, ReVision Energy, South Church Summer of Service, and Target.

There’s nothing better than fresh, locally grown produce! 🥬🍅🌱

A big thank you to Groundwork Lawrence and the team at Costello Urban Farm for sharing their harvest with Neighbors In Need. Thanks to their generosity and hard work, families visiting our food pantries are enjoying fresh, locally grown vegetables this summer.

Partnerships like this help us provide our neighbors with greater access to fresh, nutritious food while connecting the bounty grown right here in Lawrence with families in our community.
