We are thrilled to announce our new Operations Manager, Navid Nickpour!

Navid brings nearly two decades of leadership and community engagement to her role as Operations Manager at Uncommon Threads. As the former owner of Salon Navid in Andover, she saw firsthand how feeling confident and cared for can influence a woman’s sense of possibility. Alongside running her business, she partnered with local nonprofits to support women and families throughout the Merrimack Valley.

She holds a Master of Public Health from Brown University and has experience in nonprofit program development and expanding access to nutritious food. As an immigrant and first-generation college graduate, Navid brings a personal understanding of navigating barriers and building new beginnings. Her work is guided by a belief that every woman deserves dignity, opportunity, and a community that believes in her.

College is about so much more than going to class. It’s meeting new people, making friends, trying new things, and figuring out who you are along the way.

We know that feeling good in what you wear can give you that extra boost of confidence to walk into a classroom, join a group of new friends, or show up at a gathering feeling like you belong.

That’s what styling is really about. It’s not just the clothes. It’s how you feel when you put them on and step out into the world. ✨

Some days at Uncommon Threads are a little bittersweet. ❤️

Today we gathered to celebrate three incredible members of our team who are moving on to their next chapters—and to celebrate a birthday, too! 🎉🎂

These women have each brought their own talents, energy, heart, and passion to Uncommon Threads, and we are so grateful for the time they’ve spent with us and the difference they’ve made in the lives of the women we serve.

We may be saying goodbye, but the impact they have made will stay with us. Wishing each of you so much happiness and success in whatever comes next—and a very happy birthday to our birthday girl Amy!
