The 2019 STEAM Expo Event was a huge success! We had over 220 students, teachers, and parents attend the expo past Saturday. This was a day filled with activities promoting STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. We want to give a shoutout to all the organizations who hosted an activity & volunteers who made this day possible:
ASCE UNLV Student Chapter | : For sharing information on concrete canoe, steel bridge, & student chapter info.
UNLV College of Engineering | : Molly Marks for helping with space reservations and sharing information on UNLV
NSPE-NV | : For the Hoop Glider activity from thier STEM bucket kits. Dr. James for the arch bridge activity. Thank you to Brook for helping us adverstise the event!
Future Cities | https://snvfuturecity.org/: Thank you POm for the handout materials and Jane Burge for representing Hyde Park team ans sharing information on the model city Ling Firix

SMB Student Model Bridge Building Competition | http://www.modelbridgecomp.com/ : Thank you Tanner and Walt Jr for the paper bridge activity and stick bridge display
Three Square | : for setting up the food drive and being the beneficiary food bank to receive donations
FIRST Robotics | : FIRST was there with a LEGO league based Activity Table and brought out a FIRST league robot to display

Andson Money | https://www.andson.org/: for giving us information packets to share with the students on their finance math for kids program
Tech Trekker | http://techtrekker.egr.unlv.edu/: Dr. Marti and her volunteers came our with their TechTrekker and all the activities it has including a 3D printer that they showcased inside
CCSD | : Cheryl Wagner & David Philippi for helping us advertise this event!
