Las Cruces Toastmasters are friendly, involved men and women from all walks of life who are not only interested in improving their own communication and leadership skills but are equally interested in helping others, no matter what their current skill level. At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking at club meetings and working with others in a supportive non-threatening environment. Each meeting

gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluations.

Another excellent meeting last night (9/2/26)! "Toastimonials" were given by Devon & Chris - both noting how Toastmasters has helped them become better communicators. We were treated to a very good speech by Raul, who spoke on Abraham Lincoln, shared insights into Lincoln's life, and gave us a book recommendation. Table Topics was led by Renee - with all members & guests participating. Cynthia told jokes, Kylee kept us on time, David counted our ummms, and Franchesca reminded us of "the power of the pause".
