Today, we honor and celebrate our amazing Diabetes Educator Trinidad “TJ” Jasso, BS, RN, as he retires after a decade of service, dedication, and commitment to our patients and community. ✨

TJ played a vital role as the first and only Diabetes Educator at Southern New Mexico Diabetes Outreach since 2016.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, empowering patients to manage their diabetes, and making a difference in so many lives. Your compassion, guidance, and unwavering commitment to education and care have left a legacy that will continue to inspire us all.

As you begin this exciting new chapter, we wish you a retirement filled with joy, relaxation, new adventures, and all the wonderful things you deserve! 💐

🩵 Dash for Diabetes on Diabetes Awareness Day, November 14 💙
Join the 3rd Annual Dash for Diabetes Fun Run & Wellness Fair at the Old Mesilla Plaza from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Whether you’re an experienced runner, pace walker, or simply want to support the cause, everyone is welcome to join!

Your participation helps raise funds to support the Southern New Mexico Diabetes Outreach and shine a light on the impact diabetes has on our community.

Race Details:
* Race registration - registration is live on runsignup.com
* Race time - 5K start at 9:00 am and 1 Mile "Fun Walk" to follow. Registration/check in from 8:00am-9:00am on race day.
* Wellness Fair from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Visit with vendors for information, wellness screenings, and giveaways!
* Awards - Participant medals available until supplies last, Additional medals for the top finishers (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) for male and female age groups.
* Additional Prizes - largest team, funniest team name, most spirited runner, most spirited team, most school spirit, family champion, and community champion award.
