This Thankful Thursday, we are proud to highlight one of our incredible community collaborations with Ngage New Mexico! Through their Supported Success Internship Program (SSIP), we had the honor of hosting 4 interns in total, 2 on-site at Jardin de los Niños and 2 at La Tienda de Jardin. It was such a rewarding experience to work alongside these amazing students from Mayfield High School and Organ Mountain High School. ✨

Thank you to our wonderful Ngage partners for thinking of us and allowing us to be part of the SSIP program. We love creating opportunities for young leaders, supporting student growth, and building strong community partnerships that make a lasting impact. We are grateful for every intern, every partnership, and every opportunity to grow together!❤

✨We are honored to be part of this important work.

A big thank you to all the early childhood partners throughout NM who stood up for sustainable fair wages for early childhood educators! 🙌🏽

Big news from New Mexico 🎉

As the legislative session wraps, we are celebrating the passage of universal child care that includes a wage and career ladder framework for early educators!

Lawmakers also included robust funding that will boost early educator wages and career pathways, ensuring universal child care is sustainable for years to come.

Early Childhood Educators deserve fair wages, through a Wage and Career Ladder that guarantees their years of experience, education, and competence can’t be taken for granted. Ngage NM is honored to stand with our early childhood workforce to make sure this becomes a reality.

This weekend Speaker of the House Javier Martinez stood with the Kids First Coalition in support of $60 million dollars for the Wage and Career Ladder, and ensuring the funds reach the workers.

As the legislative session entered its final week, Southern New Mexico was there to represent! Ngage NM executive director Lori Martinez was one of numerous speakers advocating for the Wage and Career Ladder, along with Valeria Holloway MEd and Olga Grays, child care educators who own and operate high quality licensed programs out of their homes in Las Cruces.
