A little spooky, a lot of storytime magic! 🎃📚🦇 Halloween comes to Larkspur Library with The Bats on the Bus by Alison Jackson and Scott Magoon, a witch’s hat, and a whole lot of imagination.

Happy Halloween from Friends of Larkspur Library! 🧡

📚💙 Big things happen when libraries have Friends!

It’s National Friends of Libraries Week (October 18–24), and we’re celebrating the people who help make the Larkspur Library such a special part of our community! ❤️

The Friends of the Larkspur Library is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to supporting and enriching our beloved library. Through memberships, donations, and our popular book sales, we help fund:

📖 New books, e-books, and audiobooks
🎨 Engaging programs and cultural events
🌱 Children’s literacy and learning opportunities
💛 Resources that help our library thrive

To our members, donors, volunteers, and neighbors: THANK YOU! Your generosity helps make our library more than a place for books; it’s a place where our community comes together.

✨ Want to show your library some love? Become a Friend and help us write the next chapter!

Our librarians have BOO-k recommendations; and they’re not for the faint of heart. 👻📚

Two of our beloved Larkspur librarians picked these terrifying reads to keep you up past your deadtime this Halloween. 🎃

👉 Tender Is the Flesh by Agustina María Bazterrica
👉 Did You Hear What Eddie Gein Done? by Eric Powell and Harold Schechter

Check them out… if you dare. 💀

What a turnout! 🎉📚 A lively, packed house for Colors of Spanish Storytime at Larkspur Library last week!

We love seeing families come together for programs that make our library such a vibrant place in the community.

Proudly supported by Friends of Larkspur Library.

Since the move to the new library we’ve gone from 60 holds per day up to 160 holds per day—three times as busy! Love to see the library being used by our wonderful community.
