🍂 2026 Fall District Meeting | LaPorte County Extension Homemakers 🍂

On October 7, 2026, our LaPorte County Extension Homemakers hosted the 2026 Fall District Meeting at the Healthcare Foundation of LaPorte Conference and Learning Center, welcoming more than 90 Extension Homemakers representing eight counties!

The day featured guest speakers from the NewDay Foundation and the Steady Stitchers Extension Club, providing opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate the impact of Extension Homemakers in our communities. Attendees also participated in a white elephant gift auction, with proceeds benefiting the NewDay Foundation, while supply donations supported the Steady Stitchers Extension Club. ❤️

A special thank-you to Trisha Wainscott, our white elephant auctioneer, for traveling out to join us and helping make the auction such a success! We are also grateful to Cafe Trilogy for catering lunch and adding a delicious touch to the day's gathering.

We were pleased to welcome Extension Homemakers President Michelle Roberts, Regional 1 Operations Leader Lupe Valtierra, and Regional 2 Operations Leader Brittney Schori.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, our wonderful speakers, and all the Extension Homemakers who worked hard to plan and host this successful event. Your time, generosity, and dedication make gatherings like these possible!

We are proud to celebrate the connections, service, and community spirit that make Extension Homemakers so special! 🍁
