We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make this milestone event a success on:

Volunteers are needed to assist with:

✔️ Set-Up & Breakdown
✔️ Vendor & Sponsor Support
✔️ Route Assistance
✔️ Water Stations
✔️ Participant Engagement
✔️ General Event Support

Whether you have a few hours or can stay for the entire event, your time and support will help us raise awareness, inspire acceptance, and build community for individuals living with vitiligo.

💜 June is Vitiligo Awareness Month! 💜
Throughout the month, Beautifully Unblemished is proud to celebrate and raise awareness for vitiligo across Florida and beyond.
From receiving official proclamations from cities and local leaders, to landmarks and communities lighting up purple in support, every act of recognition helps shine a brighter light on vitiligo and the individuals and families impacted by it.
This month is about more than awareness—it’s about visibility, acceptance, education, and empowerment.
Together, we are breaking down misconceptions, celebrating our differences, and creating a world where everyone feels seen, valued, and confident in their own skin.
✨ Vitiligo Awareness Month 2026 Theme: “Changing the Way the World Sees Skin.”

The lived experience can only truly be told by those of us living with vitiligo—the emotional impact, the life changes, the challenges, and the resilience that comes with the journey.

As I sit back and reflect on being part of the More Than Our Skin documentary, I am filled with gratitude. From answering the casting call, to receiving the call that I had been selected, to filming, and finally seeing the project released, every step has been a blessing.

I am grateful for every door of opportunity that God has allowed me to walk through and for every platform that has given me the chance to share my story and advocate for others.

Today, even more doors are opening, and I am excited about what lies ahead. I can't wait to share more in the weeks to come.

The journey continues. 💜🦋

Beyond the Surface: Understanding Skin Conditions Through the Patient Perspective

Grateful for the opportunity to bring the patient perspective to the 2026 Florida Academy of Dermatology Conference.

Our panel represented different skin conditions, but the impact was remarkably similar—navigating challenges, building resilience, advocating for better care, and reminding others that we are more than our diagnoses.

When healthcare providers listen to patient voices, they gain a deeper understanding of the lived experiences behind the condition. Together, we can create more compassionate, informed, and patient-centered care.
