Whether you came out decades ago, last week, or you're still deciding what you want to share and when, your story matters. Coming out looks different for everyone. For some it's one big announcement, for others it's a lifetime of conversations, and there are infinite variations in between. Every version is valid.

To every proud, unapologetic LGBTQ Floridian: you make this state stronger and you make it easier for the next person to be themselves.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the loved ones whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we honor their memory with compassion, unity, and a continued commitment to caring for one another. May we never forget. 🤍🇺🇸

Tonight, we mourn the lives of Vincent Anthony Siqueiros and Cameron Davis Capara, who were lost in the tragic shooting at an LGBTQ+ bar in Tucson, Arizona. Our hearts are with their families, friends, and everyone grieving this unimaginable loss.

When violence strikes our community, the pain is felt by all of us. From Polk County to Tucson, we will not let hate win.
