In 2016, our son Kalen passed away after being hit by a car while crossing the street to catch his school bus. Despite our heartache, we remained faithful and drew inspiration from Kalen's own words, which ultimately became the driving force behind the Blended Family Foundation. The Blended Family Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in centra
l Florida, serving Polk, Osceola, and Hillsborough County. Our mission is to provide socks, shoes, and hygiene items through mobile emergency closets available at community resource locations. Additionally, we offer coaching and mentoring support to help families build strong and loving home environments. In the near future, we plan to expand our services by offering single-day and weekend getaways for family bonding, as well as respite retreats for grieving families.
