What can the right equipment make possible?

Robert Neal of Clean Coast FL recieved funding through the Launch Micro-Grant Program last fall, and invested in equipment to bring in new business and expand services for existing clients. With a goal to generate an additional $40,000 in business with new equipment, he’s already surpassed that projection!

The Launch Micro-Grant Program is about helping Lakeland-based businesses invest in the tools they need to grow. Learn more about the program through our website, and apply before October 20th at 5PM.

Carson Eelman is the Innovations Manager at Catapult, bringing a background in mechanical engineering, product development, and manufacturing to his role. He leads innovation partnerships and product development initiatives, including Catapult’s Healthcare Incubator, a partnership with Lakeland Regional Health and Florida Polytechnic University focused on developing innovative medical devices.

Carson also remains involved in the Makerspace, supporting equipment training, operations, and member projects. What he enjoys most is collaborating with entrepreneurs, students, and community partners to solve problems and turn ideas into something tangible.

Mike Vigue is our Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, bringing more than 11 years of experience in college athletics administration to the role.

Originally from Connecticut, Mike moved to Lakeland in 2006 to attend Southeastern University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication and later his MBA. His career in athletics has included overseeing marketing, corporate sponsorships, development, facilities and events, and day-to-day operations across multiple universities.

Now, Mike is focused on championing Catapult’s members, building purposeful and meaningful relationships that create opportunities for entrepreneurs and strengthen the community of Lakeland.
