It’s First Friday, Lakeland!

This month’s theme is Cookie Carnival, so this one pretty much sells itself.

Head downtown tonight, wander through Munn Park, check out local vendors, grab dinner, do a little shopping… and, obviously, eat a cookie or two. You’re supporting local, so technically it’s for a good cause. And we're pretty sure supporting a good cause cancels out the extra calories.

We love supporting SCORE!

Last week, we headed out to the SCORE Women’s Conference and spent the day with some pretty incredible small business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.

There was lots of learning, lots of networking…and even a little wisdom from the mayor.

We always enjoy getting out from behind the desk and connecting with the people who are building businesses right here in our community. Thanks to SCORE for putting together another great event, and for everything you do to support small businesses!

TCO field trips happen randomly.

Usually they're for important business...marketing...team building...research.

We took a walk over to Vampire Penguin Lakeland to make sure the shaved snow was not just good but up to TCO member standards (we know a good treat when we taste one around here). We're happy to report it passed inspection.

If you've never tried it, it's delicious. It's kind of like ice cream...but not ice cream. It's kind of like shaved ice...but definitely not shaved ice. The toppings? Ohhhh...the toppings. Seriously, they deserve their own post.

We’ll be back every day…er…one day soon.

And yeah, we know the picture we snapped isn’t exactly social media perfection. But delicious speaks for itself.

Meeting Room FAQ: What comes with your rental?

Q: How many people can your meeting rooms hold?
A: The Media Room comfortably accommodates up to 5 people. The larger Park Room seats up to 10 at the conference table, with additional seating available around the room if needed.

Q: Is Wi-Fi included?
A: Absolutely! Fast, reliable Wi-Fi is included with every meeting room rental.

Q: Can I connect my laptop to a TV?
A: Yes! Both rooms have TVs, with HDMI connections and dongles available for different devices.

Q: Is there a whiteboard?
A: Yep! Glass dry-erase boards are available in both the Media Room and the Park Room.

Q: What about my guests?
A: We’ll help make them feel welcome! Professional receptionist service is included with rentals during business hours.

Q: Can we have coffee?
A: Please do! Complimentary coffee is available for you and your guests.

Q: Do you offer evenings or weekends?
A: Yes! Need the room after hours or on a weekend? We offer flexible rental times to fit your schedule.

Q: What’s so special about the Park Room?
A: The view! The Park Room overlooks beautiful Munn Park, giving your meeting a little extra atmosphere.

Q: Do I have to be a member to rent a meeting room?
A: Nope! Meeting rooms are available to members and non-members.

Q: Can I rent a private office by the hour?
A: Yes! Our private offices are available for hourly rentals, giving you a professional place to work, meet with a client, or take calls without committing to a full-time office.
