💜🩷 PURPLE PLUNGE GOES PINK — COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Purple Plunge is going pink—and we're also shining a light on other local organizations doing incredible work for families affected by breast cancer.
This week we're proud to spotlight the Kelly Randel Foundation, a local nonprofit started by Kelly's family in her memory and run entirely by volunteers. đź’—
Through their Baskets for Breasties® program, they provide necessities and comfort items to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients beginning chemotherapy. They've already delivered more than 1,800 baskets across 18 hospitals!
And this weekend, you can help support their mission:
🚶‍♀️ Kelly Randel Foundation Walk
đź“… Sunday, October 11 | 10:00 AM
📍 Hamilton Lakes — 2 Pierce Place, Itasca, IL
⚠️ NEW LOCATION
Walkers are encouraged to bring one item to help fill future Baskets for Breasties®:
đź©· 8 oz Biotene Dry Mouth Oral Rinse
đź©· 8 oz Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion
đź’ś CAN'T MAKE THE WALK? PURPLE PLUNGE CAN HELP!
We're happy to collect these items for the Kelly Randel Foundation. Message Purple Plunge on Facebook or email [email protected] to arrange a pickup or drop-off.
Every item donated provides a little more comfort and care to someone going through breast cancer treatment.
As a fellow local nonprofit helping families affected by cancer, we know just how much volunteers, donors and community support can accomplish. We're proud to stand alongside the Kelly Randel Foundation this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This October, We’re Going Pink—but We’re Still Fighting for Every Color. 💜🩷
