💙 A Heartfelt Thank You to Saint Peter UCC! 💙

We are so grateful to Saint Peter United Church of Christ in Lake Zurich for organizing a wonderful snack drive to support Joanie’s Closet and the students of District 95!

We also want to thank the congregation for warmly welcoming us to one of their church services and giving us the opportunity to share more about Joanie’s Closet, our mission, and the impact we are making in our community.

Thanks to generous community partners like Saint Peter UCC, we can continue providing snacks and other essentials to students who need them most.

🎃 **Help Every Kid Have a Halloween to Remember!** 👻🧡

Joanie’s Closet is excited to partner with a LZHS student on his **Costumes for Kids** Halloween costume drive!

From **October 4–16**, we’re collecting **new or gently used Halloween costumes** to help make sure children and families in need throughout our community can enjoy the fun and excitement of Halloween. 🎃✨

📍 **Costume Drop-Off Locations:**
• LZ Admin Building – 832 S. Rand Rd.
• St. Francis de Sales Ministry Center – 135 S. Buesching Rd.

Have costumes your kids have outgrown? This is the perfect opportunity to give them a second life and help another child have a Halloween to remember! 🧡

A huge thank you to the LZHS student for taking the initiative to organize this drive and give back to kids in our community.** We are so happy Joanie’s Closet can partner with him and help support his efforts!

Oneida Masonic Lodge #337 Gives Back in a Big Way

We are incredibly grateful to the Oneida Masonic Lodge #337 for their generous donation of 240 backpacks filled with school supplies to Joanie’s Closet! This incredible contribution will make a meaningful difference for students and families throughout our community, helping ensure children have the tools they need to walk into the classroom prepared and ready to learn. Donations like this go far beyond pencils, notebooks, and backpacks—they help provide confidence, excitement, and a strong start to the school year. We are so thankful to the Masonic Lodge for believing in our mission and joining our community in supporting local students.

A huge thank you to the Ela Area Public Library for hosting their second Summer School Supplies Drive in support of Joanie’s Closet! 🎒📚✏️

Thanks to the generosity of the library and our amazing community, the drive collected more than 800 school supply items to help local students start the school year prepared and ready to learn.

🎒📚 570+ BACKPACKS & COUNTING! 💙

We hope all of our District 95 students, families, teachers, and staff had a wonderful first week of school!

This year, Joanie’s Closet provided more than 570 backpacks filled with school supplies to students across our schools. 💙

We could not have done this without the incredible support of our community — families, local businesses, community partners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers. It’s amazing what we can accomplish when we all come together to support local students.
