KX FM KX FM is a non-profit, member-supported, non-commercial, and Laguna's only FM radio station. KX FM is Human Crafted Radio in Laguna Beach, CA.

We're a non-profit, non-commercial, member-supported radio station with a mission "to lead the rebirth of FM radio, enriching our listeners with the discovery of alternative music, views, and culture that elevates Laguna Beach on a global scale." KX FM is made up of both professional DJs and more than 50 volunteers who play music from all genres, but our main focus is "Generational Alt Rock" from

the 60s to present. We regularly feature live musicians and always aim to lead your discovery of independent artists. We are a partner to the City of Laguna Beach for emergency purposes. As the only live medium in town, we are equipped with back-up batteries and generators in the event of a local disaster, to be able to disseminate potentially life-saving information. Joined by Pat Parnell, she presented the Best Bar award to the legendary Sandpiper “Dirty Bird,” accepted by Laguna icon Chuck Harrell. The moment earned a standing ovation from the audience—a fitting tribute to a longtime family owned business🏆🍻
