Our garden brings so many pollinators to the sanctuary, and occasionally one slips into the catio. Today a Gulf Fritillary butterfly stopped by, and Cici kindly escorted it back outside. Thanks for the help, Cici. 😹 Butterfly 1, Cici 0.

Proof that love and patience work magic! 🌟

When Star first joined us at our senior cat sanctuary, he was super quiet, shy, and not a fan of affection.

But look at him now! Star has completely settled into his forever home at Blue Bell. 🥰 By giving him time and moving at his pace, we slowly built trust and a special bond.

Director Jenna even found out he loves being petted backwards…isn’t that odd? Most cats hate having their fur rubbed the wrong way, but Star absolutely loves it!
