🚨 ADVOCACY ALERT! 🚨

We have a wonderful opportunity to increase the awareness of the Cleveland National Forest trails. The Santa Ana Traverse is an alignment authored by Warriors of the Santa Anas that protects our most important backcountry, we need your help to make it a reality.

Through the BOLT Act Coalition, OCMTBA has officially nominated the 85 mile Santa Ana Traverse route to be designated as an official long-distance biking trail under the federal BOLT Act.

The BOLT Act (passed as part of the EXPLORE Act in 2024 thanks to , , and ) directs federal agencies to identify and support premier long-distance riding routes. Read more at https://www.imba.com/bolt-act

Why the Santa Ana Traverse?
🌲 Protect our Wilderness: brings national attention to our forest lands precluding future land sell-offs
🚲 Rare Backcountry Riding: true point-to-point backcountry trails in our otherwise very busy County
🏨 Supporting Local: Riders bring vital tourism dollars and leveraging these trails balances our other systems.

Take 2 minutes to submit a public comment in support! Let’s show federal land managers how passionate the Southern mountain biking community is.
